- ClipTools edits video files on your phone. That's the whole product.
- Everything you make with it is yours. Nothing is uploaded, so no copy exists anywhere but your device.
- Video processing can fail on any device — always check an export before deleting the original.
By using ClipTools you agree to what's below. It's short, because the app is simple: it edits video files on your phone and that's it.
Your licence to use the app
You may use ClipTools on any device you own, for personal or commercial work, free of charge. You may not resell the app itself, or decompile it and ship it as your own.
Your content is yours
Everything you make with ClipTools belongs to you. No claim is made over your videos, your exports, or anything you create with them — and since nothing is uploaded, no copy of them exists anywhere but your device.
What you're responsible for
That you have the right to edit the footage you feed into the app, and that what you do with the result is lawful where you are. ClipTools has no way of checking either, and doesn't try to.
Keep your originals
Exports are written as new files and originals are never modified or deleted. Even so, video processing can fail — a device can run out of storage, an encoder can reject a file, the system can kill a background export. Treat a finished export as something to verify, not something to trust blindly, and keep your source clips until you've checked the result.
No warranty
ClipTools is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. It cannot promise that every device's hardware encoder will accept every file, that an export will always complete, or that output quality will match a desktop editor's. To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for lost files, lost time, or lost work.
Changes and contact
These terms can change with a future app update; the effective date above will change too. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the current version. Questions: support@vihangaone.com.
